Alisha Parveen now takes on the role of the grown-up Aadhya, also known as Rahi, while Shivam Kharuria, known from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, makes his much-anticipated return to television as her love interest. Fans of Shivam are excited to see him back in action on the popular Star Plus show after his long-awaited comeback. Shivam Kharuria portrays Prem, an important character in Anupamaa's life who serves as a strong source of support.

Recently, during a light-hearted chat, Alisha and Shivam engaged in some playful banter. When Alisha was asked to list the qualities she looks for in a partner, she wrote, “Tall, Honest, and Punjabi.” Shivam jokingly replied, “Ye to sab mera hi likh diya tune.” Alisha then asked, “Tu Punjabi hai?” to which he replied, “Han,” and she quipped, “Nhi, tujse bhi tall.”
