Alia Bhatt to call Shah Rukh Khan 'Pathaan' now onwards; latter also gives her a cute nick name

Alia Bhatt recently joined hands with Shah Rukh Khan on Darlings, her first movie as a producer, and the two recently exchanged pleasantries on social media. Today, Shah Rukh Khan got engaged in an "Ask SRK" session on Twitter while he was busy promoting his forthcoming action movie Pathaan. When a fan questioned Shah Rukh, "Why does Alia call you just SR?" Alia entered the question-and-answer session. The two actors' relationship was evident in Alia's response to Shah Rukh's fan query, which also won Alia a cute nick name. 

Shah Rukh tweeted what "SR" might stand for in response to Alia's question. He wrote, "Could mean sweet and romantic or maybe senior and respected or maybe just Shah Rukh." Reacting to his response, Alia Bhatt revealed what 'SR' stood for, and tweeted, "More like sweet and respected :) But from 25th January I’m going to switch to calling you Pathaan. See I’m so creative na (no?)."

While Alia revealed her new name for him was Pathaan, Shah Rukh also came up with a name for Alia. He tweeted in regard to Alia's newborn baby Raha Kapoor, saying, "Done little one. And I am now going to call you little Amma (mother) Bhatt Kapoor!" 

Alia and Shah Rukh collaborated in the 2016 movie Dear Zindagi, in which she had the lead role. Additionally, they appeared in Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, which starred Alia, Ranbir in lead roles and Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo appearance. Alia began working as a producer for Darlings alongside Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment last year.
