According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Chhaava raked in an impressive Rs 32 crore on Wednesday, following a strong Rs 25.25 crore on Tuesday. This remarkable performance has brought its total box office collection to Rs 197.5 crore in just six days, positioning it to surpass the Rs 200 crore mark today.

In recognition of the film's historical importance, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that Chhaava will be tax-free in the state. He shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, I announce tax-free release of the Hindi film ‘Chhaava’ based on his son Sambhaji Maharaj."

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava is a historical action film that chronicles the life of Maratha king Sambhaji, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal. The cast also features Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.
