Alia Bhatt gets compliments from Mira Rajput!

Karan Johar's pet project 'Shaandaar' is soaring on a high note among the audience. Be it the beat thumping dance numbers or the exciting trailer; everything about the movie is making news.

Also, its lead actors Alia and Shahid are the centre of all tinsel town talks, especially for the great rapport the duo share between each other.

But, since the promotions of the movie first began Alia had maintained that she won't allow any questions regarding Shahid's marriage or his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor! Ask Shahid anything related to his marriage and there comes Alia in his defense and wards off everyone. She also went on to say, "if anyone asks Shahid one more time about his marriage, I will stand up, and slap (that person) across the face." [sic]

However, at the song launch of 'Shaam Shaandaar', Alia Bhatt was rather in a chirpy mood and was seen quite willing to let Shahid answer questions about his marriage to Mira Rajput.

When asked about how Mira liked the song Alia revealed that it is her new favourite! She said, "Mira personally called me up and said 'Babe I loved Shaam Shaandaar'. So yes she has loved it and I am very happy about it." [sic]
