Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to marry in April? Aunt Rima Jain clarifies

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of Bollywood's most adored couples and their fans can't wait to see them share screen space in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. They were recently in Varanasi for the film's final schedule. While much has been written about their professional careers, there have also been some speculations about their personal lives. 

According to Pinkvilla reports, the couple plan to marry in April 2022, and preparations for the big day have already begun. 

Pinkvilla reached out to Ranbir's aunt Rima Jain for comment on the news. When asked if the rumours of RK and Alia marrying in April are true, Jain states, 

"Nothing that I am aware of at the moment. They will marry, but I have no idea when. They will decide, and then you will all learn.''

When asked further about the April wedding rumours, Jain stated, "Nothing like this. Hum log ne kuch prepare hi nahin kiya toh shaadi kaise itni jaldi hogi (We haven't prepared anything yet; how is the wedding going to take place so soon?) If true, it will be shocking for me as well. Wedding will undoubtedly occur, but I have no idea when." 

For a long time, rumours of Ranbir and Alia's wedding have circulated, but the couple has never made an official statement on the subject. 

Alia and Ranbir both have an interesting slate of films ahead of them. While the actress' RRR was recently released, she will also appear in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, Brahmastra, and Jee Le Zaraa in the coming months. Ranbir's kitty also includes Brahmastra, Shamshera, Animal, and Luv Ranjan's untitled next.
