Bollywood actor Ali Fazal, who is currently busy shooting for his next Hollywood film ‘Kandahar’ took to his social media to share images from the sets.
Recently the actor surprised everyone by sharing the first poster of 'Death on the Nile'.
Now the actor, along with his co-stars Navid Negahban and Gerard Butler, wear their brightest smiles with quirky expressions.
Sharing the photos, Ali wrote,
“This one is for LOVE!! Christmas with the Kandahar gang!! Some here and some still on the dance floor.. and am sorry i have no freakkn clue why i am holding an ostrich egg in my hand!!! Or is it?? The film is helmed by director Ric Roman Waugh, the film, based on true incidents, draws inspiration from the life of a former military intelligence officer's experiences at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan.
Bankrolled by 'John Wick' fame Thunder Road Films and Capstone group, Kandahar commenced shooting in Saudi Arabia's Al Ula in December.
This film marks the first collaboration between Ali and Roman, who has previously worked with Butler in widely appreciated and noteworthy projects like Greenland and Angel Has Fallen.
On the work front, Ali was last seen in an anthology film ‘Ray’, which was based on the works of iconic filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
He is also shooting for filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj's directorial Khufiya along with yet another project with Gal Gadot after Furious 7, called 'Death On The Nile', slated for a worldwide release on 11th Feb.
