Akshay Dogra's 'INCREDIBLE' dedication for his performance in Waaris!

It is a known fact that the big screen has got one perfectionist in the form of actor Aamir Khan, who has always gone beyond his limits to showcase realism. But not many are aware that the small screen has also got one of that kind in the form of actor Akshay Dogra, who is seen in & TV's Waaris.  

Television actor Akshay Dogra, who is popularly known for his negative role as Jagan Pawania is a hardcore perfectionist and has taken up challenging roles to entertain his audience. 

Recently, the talented actor gave the liberty to beat himself up to churn out realism for an intense scene. A source from the set informs that, for a particular jail sequence, Jagan will be arrested and beaten up brutally by the cops. In order to look real, Akshay told the makers to have him beaten up in real so that the true essence of emotions can be delivered in the scene. Looking at his immense professionalism, everyone on the sets were stunned and he was appreciated for the same.

Talking about it, the immensely dedicated actor says, " I always believe in taking up challenges and always go beyond my limits. When the scene was narrated, I instantly thought that the only way to bring justice to the scene is to bare the real pain. That's when I requested the makers to make it real and thankfully, the pain has clearly turned out in a fruitful interesting scene."
