Akshay Anand and Ravi Gosain in Zee's Chauda Phere..

Ratna Sinha's Chota Ganpati Telecreations is all set for their next show after Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na on Sony. The production house is coming up with a new daily show tentatively titled 'Chauda Phere' for Zee TV.

Rookie actress Ankita Srivastava and Amber Dhara fame Sulagna Panigrahi will play the female leads in the show.

Akshay Anand who is presently seen in Imagine's Basera will play a pivotal role in the show. Ravi Gosain who was earlier seen in shows like Amaanat and Chalti ka Naam Gaddi will also be part of the show.

According to our source, "Akshay Anand and Ravi Gosain have been finalized to play father figures in the show. While Akshay Anand will play father to Sulagna, Ravi Gosain will essay the role of Ankita Srivastava's father".

When contacted, Akshay Anand confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am playing a very important role in the show. I play a father who wants his daughter to be brought up under the stringent rules of family values. I can talk more on my role only after the shoot begins".

Ravi Gosain on his part said, "Yes, I have been offered this show. But all will be confirmed only after I begin shoot".

According to our source, "The male leads for the show have not been finalized yet. Shoot is expected to commence in the next ten days with an outdoor in Rajasthan".

We called the Producer Ratna Sinha, who confirmed the news, "Ravi Gosain and Akshay Anand are part of our show. Ankita Srivastava and Sulagna Panigrahi will be playing the leads. We have not finalized on the male leads as of now".

We tried calling Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Zee Tv, but he remained unavailable for comment.

Well, we await to know more about this Chauda Phere…
