Akon's trip to India!

Thrown the responsibility of hosting Akon's 3-day trip to India, Akon has kept Suniel Shetty's company and his workers constantly on the run.

Along with changing the venue for the singer/rapper's birthday bash from Mumbai to Pune - only to avoid the emergence of celebrities from Bollywood who would insist on attending the most happening bash of the year, Akon also expressed his desire to taste the food of every city he sets his foot in.

And if that wasn't enough, Akon also requested to meet with his Ra. One pal, Shahrukh Khan!

After meeting with SRK, Akon will then proceed to reach his final destination, Pune, where he will do a 45 minute concert for a small crowd of 1,200 people. Although the organizers received more than enough requests for tickets, there was only so much they could do to accommodate everyone. The organizers also plan to celebrate the rappers birthday on the very stage of the Gurgaon concert.

Finally, before returning to his homeland in the US, Akon will round up his gigs with a final performance at Bangalore. In between all that, he also plans to watch Suniel Shetty's Thank You, since he has heard a lot of praise of the actor and his acting skills!

Phew! Here's wishing Akon a very happy birthday and hope his trip ends up everything he expected!
