The backlash hasn’t just been limited to social media. The comment sections on Ullu's official pages are flooded with angry viewers expressing their disapproval. Many are demanding that House Arrest be taken down permanently, accusing the makers of prioritizing shock value over dignity and decency.

Despite the uproar, neither Ajaz Khan nor the makers of the show have issued any public statement. As the controversy grows, it also arrives at a time when the government has already started taking note of increasing obscenity on OTT platforms.
