Aishwarya Sharma on dealing with trolls, working with Neil in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and more

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin features Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, and Ayesha Singh in the lead roles. The show has been doing very well with the fans and more often than not, it has managed to be one of the top shows across all the channels. Aishwarya Sharma, who plays the role of Paakhi in the show, got talking to us about the show, her character, and having Neil on the sets among other things.

Tell us about the current atmosphere on the sets, given COVID-19

Right now we are working under the bio bubble protocol and we all are taking all the precautions. But still, we take care of everything and try to keep ourselves healthy.

How have you been coping up, given that you yourself have tested positive earlier? What is the thought process that keeps you going?

Only one thought, whatever happens, I'll keep working hard and never quit.

You have often been the subject of trolls due to the character you play, does it get overwhelming?

It's a part of every actor's life. So many of them can't differentiate in personal and professional life.. and the character I am playing is really challenging totally different from my real-life character and there's a lot to do, so many emotions I am getting to play and if they troll me for my character I am playing then I am good at my job and I take every comment as a compliment.

Do you relate to your character, what are the differences and the similarities?

There's nothing similar at all, we both are literally opposite like north and south, so I hope you got what I am trying to say.

How is it having Neil on the sets, is there just the good or are there things you'd like to change as well?

Is it even a question? I can write an essay on it and I am the happiest woman when he is around me and honestly there's nothing to change anything.

The trend of music videos has been on a high, will we see you and Neil do a music video together?

Yes, I would love to do that if I get that opportunity, looking forward to it.

The show has been doing very well, what do you think has worked with the audiences, especially since it started off as an underdog?

The story I think and all the characters.. so many of them relate to it and it's all about teamwork especially, we really work hard to do our best.
