Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently made her debut on the social media platform and as reported earlier, within two weeks of creating her account, the beauty queen got over 3.1 million followers on her Instagram handle. Something that was not witnessed so far!

So, during a recent media interaction, when the gorgeous diva was asked about garnering such a massive fan following within such a small duration she instantly replied that she has not set out for that.

She clearly stated that she decided to come on social media to interact with her fans and not for the number of followers.

"I wanted to reach out to the people who love me and who have always complained about not having a direct platform to interact with me. Do you really think these numbers matter? Not at all," said Aishwarya!
