Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are twinning and winning as they head out for a dinner date in Cannes

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan barely fails to emanate serious sartorial goals, whether on or off the red carpet. The actress arrived in Cannes with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya to attend the prestigious film festival.

The husband and wife duo managed to take a break from their hectic schedule to dine at a restaurant on the French Riviera. A picture of the couple has been making rounds on social media. The picture shows the pair posing with the owners of a Lebanese eatery.

It can also be noted that the couple is dressed in matching attire for the evening. While aishwarya has opted for a black t-shirt with a multi-colour graphical jacket, Abhishek is also wearing a hoodie of the same colour scheme.  their picture was shared by the owner of the restaurant on his Instagram account.

Meanwhile Aishwarya Rai graced the red carpet in a sculptued gown last night. She appeared like a fairy and fans couldn't take their eyes off her. Gaurav Gupta had designed the outfit.

For her first look, the actress opted for a Dolce and Gabbana outfit which was a billowing gown with a 3D effect of the floral accents. Earlier on the 1st day of the festival, pictures and videos of the actress caused a stir on social media. She was dressed in a pink head to toe ensemble. 

In 2002, Aishwarya Rai made her Cannes red carpet debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She has established herself as the most prominent Indian celebrity at Cannes throughout the years. The actor's next project is the Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, and Keerthy Suresh will also star in the historical drama. It will be released on 30th September.
