After Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, Nagarjuna announces engagement of son Akhil with Zainab Ravdjee

It is double celebrations at the Akkineni household. After Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, Nagarjuna announced the engagement of his younger son Akhil Akkineni with Zainab Ravdjee. It seems the engagement happened on November 26, 2024. She is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Nagarjuna wrote on his social media handle, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Akhil Akkineni, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family.” Zainab is a prolific painter who lives in Mumbai. She was a part of the movie Meenaxi: A Tale Of Two Cities. The MF Hussain movie starred Tabu and Kunal Kapoor. She is known for her abstract paintings.

Akhil Akkineni is the son of Nagarjuna and his second wife, Amala Paul Akkineni. It seems their marriage will happen in 2025. The family is now gearing up for the marriage of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala. It will be a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance. The couple are doing the planning themselves revealed Nagarjuna.

Incidentally, Akhil Akkineni was earlier engaged to Shriya Bhupal in December 2016. She is an entrepreneur and granddaughter of top industrialist GVK Reddy. The engagement of Naga Chaitanya and his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu took place in 2017. But the engagement of Akhil and Shriya got called off within months. It seems age difference played a huge role as he was four years younger to her. Reports of them having a bad fight at the airport also did the rounds. Sources said that Akhil Akkineni developed jitters and that caused issues. Both families including GVK tried to mend matters but the couple decided to separate.

Zulfi Ravdjee is an entrepreneur and has close association with YS Jagan. As per reports, she is 39, which means he is younger to her by nine years.

Zainab lives in Mumbai. She has spent her childhood in London, Dubai and India as per her bio. Akhil and Zainab’s lovey-dovey pics have made fans gush with happiness.
