After meeting Rishab Shetty & watching 'Kantara', Janhvi Kapoor is in his awe

There is seldom any person who has seen Rishabh Shetty's film Kantara and not hailed the performance of the actor. From superstar Rajinikanth to Varun Dhawan and other newbies, everyone has been in awe of this masterpiece. 

Looks like Janhvi Kapoor, who was among the members of the round table meet conducted by Film Companion along with Rishab Shetty, was compelled to watch the film which she might have missed owing to her busy schedule.

A few hours ago, Kapoor took to her Instagram stories and penned an appreciation post for Rishabh Shetty and his film Kantara. Sharing a clip from the film, she wrote, "This man. No words. In awe. Sir hats off to you for this film, your performance and your vision."

Talking about the film, Action-thriller Kantara is an Indian Kannada-language movie that was written, produced, and directed by Rishab Shetty in 2022 for Hombale Films. Shetty plays a Kambala champion who is at odds with Murali, an honourable forest officer, in the movie (played by Kishore). Principal photography started in August 2021 and was shot in Keradi in coastal Karnataka.

Critics applauded the cast performances, the directing, the narrative, the production design, the cinematography, the right presentation of the Bhoota Kola, the action sequences, editing, soundtrack, and musical score in Kantara, which was released on September 30, 2022. It became the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of all time and the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022 thanks to the movie's tremendous commercial success.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the film 'Mili'. Next she will be a part of Nitesh Tiwari's film 'Bawaal' along with Varun Dhawan.
