After launching only 3 months ago, this CHANNEL to SHUT it's programming

One of the most ambitious launches happened around 3 months ago, when Discovery Jeet was launched. The channel was the latest entrant into the GEC space, and the hype surrounding it, was immense.

With Mohit Raina's comeback show, 21 Sarfarosh: Saragrahi 1897 and Mere Papa Hero Hiralal being the most popular of the lot, the channel truly seemed promising with it's content.

But, it never really took off if we talk about the numbers and the shows fared dismally on the charts. The channel's strategy to put it's dream project of Gabru - Hip Hop Ke Shehzaade on hold and re-launch it in April, was another attempt to make things better. But that never seemed to be happen at all.

Owing to all this, according to reports, the channel's official programming will cease to exist from 15th May 2018.

Yes! That's right. It is also being said that due to programming commitment to it's OTT partner Netflix, the channel only created 'limited content' according to the deal.

Reports also suggest that the channel will now only air re-runs of it's existing shows and other dubbed content.
