Aditya Pancholi files defamation case against Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel filed an email complaint against Aditya Pancholi on the 9th of April. The complaint was with respect to the assault and exploitation that Kangana faced from Aditya, a decade ago. 

A recent report in Bombay Times states that Aditya has filled a counter complaint claiming that Kangana Ranaut's Lawyer has threatened Pancholi to file a rape case against him. Versova police station confirmed that they were in the receipt of the complaints to the daily.

Aditya speaks to Bombay Times about the same, he mentioned, "My wife (Zarina Wahab) and I filed a defamation case against Kangana and her sister Rangoli in September 2017, after she gave interviews alleging that I did this and that to her (abuse)."

The actor also mentioned that Kangana's Lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee pressurized him to withdraw the defamation case. He said, “I recorded his conversation and submitted it to the court on April 10. The case was on and I told the honourable judge in my statement that this lawyer had threatened to file a rape case against me in January. 

"I got the pen drive (with the videos of his conversation) verified under the Indian Evidence Act. I have a certificate which proves that the videos are not doctored. I have submitted the evidence with the certificate at the Versova police station, and given an application to investigate the videos that I have submitted.”

The case is currently under investigation and the Versova Police is looking into it.
