Time management in today’s time is quite a task. TV actor and model Aditi Shetty wishes there were more than 24 hours in a day because there’s so much to do.

“As an artist, there is so much that I want to explore. Plus we all have to be particular with time because in this industry time is money,” she continues, “One doesn’t have a fixed schedule in the entertainment industry. Some days you are shooting continuously and sometimes you get short breaks. Uncertainty plays a big part here. I am doing two TV shows simultaneously, so I don’t know what my schedule looks like tomorrow, whether it will be a day or a night shift. However, I manage my time accordingly and amidst all that, I take out time to do the things that I love.”

Sundays or offs don't feel like holidays anymore. Thanks to communication tools like mobile phones and social media, we have forgotten where to put a full stop.

“These days we are all stuck to our phones. I am no different. But now, I do make a conscious effort to keep the phone away and take out time for myself to look around, enjoy the breeze, be in the present and enjoy real conversations with friends and family for spiritual and overall well-being,” she says.

Sharing two time management tips, Aditi adds, “Making a to-do list before you sleep at night really helps to organise your next day. Like it’s wisely said in the book, eat that frog, which means identifying and completing your most important tasks first as that really helps one to be productive and efficient. Personally, I am not a multitasker. I like dedicating my time and prioritising what’s important, finishing it before moving to the next.”
