The upcoming episodes of the show will see Meera scouting for Vivaan's (played by Arjit Taneja) mother Pammi Kapoor (played by Vishavpreet Kaur). In order to do so, she disguises herself as an old lady and calls herself Saddi Kaur from Hoshiyarpur. Meera poses as someone trying to look for her husband Lattooji who has been trapped by Pammi Kapoor. Her only motive is to expose Pammi and win her husband back.
In order to give more authenticity to the character and make Saddi Kaur's look more impactful, Aditi took inspiration from Robin William's popular movie Mrs. Doubtfire. She will be seen dressing up like a matronly grandmother wearing a trademark wig, spectacles coupled with a blazer and skirt. A typical Punjabi woman, Saddi Kaur is a witty, flamboyant and loud person!
Speaking on her new look and role of Saddi Kaur, Aditi says, "I had the most enriching experience while shooting for one of the episodes of Kaleerein, wherein I had to dress up like an elderly woman, appear bulky and speak in a heavy Punjabi accent. Viewers can look forward to seeing me in an all new avatar of Saddi Kaur. I underwent a complete transformation and my new look involved a lot of work and detailing on the styling front. I went through the clips and pictures of the legendary actor Robin Williams cross-dressing character Mrs Doubtfire to draw some inspiration and inculcate its nuances in my look and appearance. She further adds, "It was a complete learning experience as I not only got an opportunity to do something different, but also experiment with my look and character. I am ecstatic and certain that my fans will be intrigued by this quirky new look."
Looks like an interesting twist is coming ahead, are you looking forward to the show ahead?
