While the Nation was just recovering from the sudden demise of two Bollywood's legendary actresses, Sridevi and Shammi, another sad news just broke out.

In another shocking incident, Bengali actress Moumita Saha was found dead in her room and from the fresh reports it's been said that she committed suicide.

A few hours back, her body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in her flat in southern part of Kolkata's Reagent Park area.

Worried about the budding actress who had not opened her door since yesterday afternoon, the neighbors called the police who immediately turned up and broke open the door of her flat after which they found her hanging from the ceiling in one of the rooms.

Police informed PTI, that a suicide note was recovered from the flat where the actress was staying alone."The house owner informed us today after the door of the flat was not opened since last afternoon," they said.

Investigations are on and according to Police, the actress could have been under "severe depression".

"We have gone through her social networking site where her last post appeared to be written out of depression. We are going through her mobile call list," they said.

Various reports suggest that Momita was trying her luck in the film industry but even after repeated attempts she couldn't land herself a role due to which she fell into depression and took the drastic step of ending her life.

Police are also probing into the angle if it is a case of "abetment to suicide" for which they are scanning her call list.

We pray for her departed soul to rest in peace.
