Actor Samarth Jurel Says, "My primary focus always remains on the script, and not the medium''

Actor Samarth Jurel, who gained fame and recognition for his acting chops in the show Udaariyaan, is currently seen playing the character of Harsh in the Zee TV show Maitree. Recently, in a conversation with us, Samarth revealed that he is open to working in any medium be it television, web or films- whichever satisfies him as an artist. 

Sharing his pattern of taking up projects, he says, "From the initial times only, I have been very focused on what character I choose and if I will be able to do justice to the character. Being an actor, I do believe that every medium has a lot of opportunities and chances to explore, so focusing on only one medium would be a big mistake. Great and meaningful content really attracts me and I don't wish to compromise it on any medium. I want to mark my presence wherever there is good quality of work."

When asked about his criteria for selecting characters, Samarth says,"I am very choosy while selecting roles that come my way and I only pick up a script which arouses my creative instincts. What truly matters to me is to be a part of a good story, a strong character and a good team."
