Actor Gajendra Chauhan to play Lord Shiva in Delhis Ramlila

Actor Gajendra Chauhan who has been facing fierce agitation for being appointed as the FTII chief recently, will be playing the role of Lord Shiva in the country’s capital.

Actor Gajendra Chauhan who has been facing fierce agitation for being appointed as the FTII chief recently, will be playing the role of Lord Shiva in the country’s capital. The Luv Kush Ramlila Committee has enchained many celebrities to perform for Ramlila this year.

According to a report, more renowned faces from film & Tv industry will be joining the act soon. Apart from Asrani and Surendra Pal, Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor and Ranjeet will be masked in as Narantak and Akshaykumara respectively. Whereas, Amita Nangia will act as Kaushalya, Deepshikha as Mandodri and Zarina Wahab would be playing as Shabri. Also, Gagan Malik who currently plays lord Ram in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman will be a part of the act followed by Jr. Mehmood. Puneet Issar would be seen playing the role of Parshuram. Girja Shankar who once played Dhrithrashtra in Mahabharat will enact as Dashrath.

A spokesperson from the committee reported that they are in talks with many other celebrities to join them and more know faces are expected to join the act.
