Actor Abhishek Rawat welcomes a baby girl!

Actor Abhishek Rawat, who is best known for his roles on 'Agle Janam Mohe Bititya Hi Kijo' and 'Service Wali Bahu' was overwhelmed with happiness when the actor and his wife, Anjali Menon welcomed a baby girl on the 18th December 2015.

An ecstatic Abhishek opened up his heart to us, "Yes, a cute little baby girl graced our lives few days ago. We were rooting for a girl and are so happy that this wish was granted. Some of our acquaintances, had baby boys this year. We had our fingers crossed for a girl."

The actor adds, "We have decided to call her Roobani, where Roo means soul and Bani means language. The meaning of the name just blew us over and had no second thoughts for naming her the same."

The actor when asked for a special reason for rooting for a girl, wittingly replied, "Not really any particular reason, just she would be a great elder sister to our second child, who would hopefully be a boy."
