Absconded actor Vishal Thakkar, finally surrenders to cops!

Actor Vishal Thakkar, who has appeared in films like Munnabhai MBBS, Chandni Bar, and Tango Charlie was recently accused of raping an actress from the television industry. A case was registered at the Charkop police station on 17^th October, 2015. In a statement made in the FIR, the actress stated that Vishal raped her at his residence. However, the actor wasn't arrested as he went missing since then.

An FIR was filed under the sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323,509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the dignity of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

According to a report from a daily portal, Vishal surrendered before the police at Charkop police station today at 9.am in the morning. He was alone and wasn't accompanied by any lawyer or any other person. The case is being investigated under inspector Sarayu Deshmukh.

However, if rumors are to be believed, Vishal's relationship with his girlfriend was under some tense situation and thus they parted away. As a result, Vishal raped her girl friend's friend to take a revenge from her.

The matter is now under police investigation and depends on what is going to be revealed further.
