Abhishek Malik and Suhani Chaudhary mutually decide to part ways

Abhishek Malik and stylist Suhani Chaudhary, who tied the knot in October 2021 after a courtship of nine months, have jointly agreed to go their separate ways. They are currently in discussions regarding the divorce proceedings.

Confirming the news to one of the leading portals, Abhishek, known for his role in Kumkum Bhagya, stated that he and Suhani have decided to part ways due to compatibility issues in their marriage. He emphasized that their decision to separate was mutual, with no hard feelings between them, and they both sincerely wish each other well.

Echoing similar sentiments, Suhani commented that they entered into marriage without anticipating potential incompatibilities, which only became evident after cohabiting. Despite this realization, she emphasized the absence of bitterness or regret. Both parties have mutually concluded that parting ways is the most suitable path forward. Suhani conveyed her best wishes to Abhishek for his future endeavours.

The couple got married in Delhi in October 2021. In a previous interview, talking about how they met, Abhishek said he wasn't sure about a relationship because Suhani lived in Delhi and he was in Mumbai. But when circumstances changed during the lockdown, and he went back to Delhi, their bond grew stronger. They both wanted a serious relationship and now they're married. Abhishek joked that while he's played married roles on screen, being married in real life to someone he loves feels truly special. He laughed, saying it's different from on-screen weddings where actors go home alone after the director says "cut."

Abhishek, who debuted in Hindi television in 2012 with Chhal - Sheh Aur Maat, has appeared in various TV shows, including Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed, the seventh season of Splitsvilla, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Bhagyalaxmi, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, and Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho.
