Shoojit Sircar’s production house has released a new promo for the upcoming film I Want to Talk, featuring Abhishek Bachchan in a central role. The short teaser offers a glimpse into the emotional depths of the film, focusing on a pivotal exchange between Bachchan’s character, Arjun Singh, and his on-screen daughter.
In the promo, Arjun quietly tells his daughter, “I’m hurt,” to which she responds, “Why you hurt? I’m hurt.” The brief but powerful dialogue is followed by a weighted silence, leaving the relationship dynamics shrouded in mystery.

For months, speculation has been rife about tensions within the Bachchan family, particularly between Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Rumors suggest that the Taal actress is being sidelined, with the family allegedly making public appearances without her. The Bachchans remain under close scrutiny from netizens, with every move and interaction drawing widespread attention and debate.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sircar under the banners Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, I Want to Talk is set for a theatrical release on November 22, 2024
