Abhishek Bachchan Pokes Fun at Farah Khan for Slamming Celebs on Workout Videos

Farah Khan had recently shared a video and slammed Bollywood celebrities for sharing workout videos amid the coronavirus lockdown. Calling the video a ‘bigger pandemic than coronavirus’, the filmmaker had threatened to unfollow all such celebs on social media.

Abhishek Bachchan who worked with Farah in Happy New Year has pulled her leg and taken a hilarious jibe over her complaint against Bollywood celebs sharing fitness videos. In a series of tweets, Farah wrote:  “Pandemic teachings: cupboard full of clothes ,when all i need r 2 outfits.. Nighttime nighty & Daytime nighty.”

In another tweet, she wrote: “Pandemic Teachings 2:-learning who my real friends are.. my new Bff’s-BabuRam vegetable wala.. Swapnil from hiral Grocery Stores .. Noble Chemist ka Pawan.. n pesca Fish ki Nalini.. thank you.” 

While these tweets had nothing to do with her earlier rant, Abhishek poked fun at her and teased her as he commented on her post:  “Thank you! Ab workout video upload Karo!”

Earlier, Deepika Padukone too had reacted to Farah Khan slamming workout videos. During an interaction with Rajeev Masand, Deepika gave a reply to Farah’s outburst as she said: “I know a lot of people have a problem with exercise videos that are going up. But to be honest, putting up exercise videos -- rather, exercising, not putting up videos -- it’s more about how you feel. It’s not really about how you look.”

 "I can understand that you'll are privileged and you don't have any have any other worries in this global pandemic except for looking after your figures but some of us, most of us have bigger concerns during this crisis toh please humare upar rehem kijiye aur workout videos bandh kar dijiye and if you can't stop then please don't feel bad if I unfollow you. Stay Safe!"
