Abhijeet gets bail, BREAKS DOWN outside JAIL

Abhijeet Bhattacharya was booked for defaming a female journalist on twitter.

Famous singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been falling into controversies for some of his recent comments on twitter. This has been happening for quite few months now.

Recently the singer was arrested on 26th July for abusing journalist, Swati Chaturvedi on twitter. An FIR was registered against Abhijeet, after Aam Aadmi Party National Executive Member and Spokesperson Preeti Sharma Menon complained about it. The charges for which the singer was booked, was obscenity and outrage of modesty. Preeti had tweeted this to the police commissioner.

She later confirmed the singer's arrest in a series of tweets, here's what she said:

Abhijeet's son later bailed him out, and reportedly the singer broke down when he walked out of the jail. To this Menon twitted:
