Abhas Joshi and Deepali to host 'Bharat Ki Shaan' for DD..

Gajendrra Siingh's Saibaba Telefilms is for the first time working with Doordarshan for their next talent hunt show, titled 'Bharat Ki Shaan'.

According to our source, "The show will provide a platform for singers from the remotest corners of the country to showcase their talent. The popular Bappi Lahiri and Kavita Krishnamurthi will be judging the show, while Abhas Joshi of Star Voice of India fame and Deepali Kishore of Indian Idol fame will be hosting the show".

Dheeraj Raina, Marketing Head, Saibaba Telefilms confirmed the news and said, "We have got a good ensemble for the show. The talent we have found is of very good quality; we have a good mix of Sufi singers, singers of modern contemporary style etc. Overall, the look and feel of the show is good".

We tried calling Bappi Lahiri and Kavita Krishnamurthi, but they were unavailable for comments.

Deepali Kishore confirmed to us that she is hosting the show along with Abhas Joshi.
