Aashish Mehrotra's father passes away, Anupamaa actor posts heartfelt note

Losing a parent can be devastating. Anupamaa actor Aashish Mehrotra's father passed away and the actor took to social media to pay his condolences and penned a note on how much he is going to miss his father. He shared a couple of photos as well as videos with his father and wrote how he wants to remember him as a forever smiling face.

The actor currently plays the role of Toshu in Anupamaa, and along with the post, he also wrote: My uncomfortable hugging champ..

You may have left me on the outside for the world....but on the inside you are even more close ... & this more will never be enough...Our bodies may have parted ways...but soul's will never....I am sorry for being selfish here..."Aap sirf mere papa ho.."My lines to you...I know you haven't left me..papa.. wish i could just hold you like this and not let you go....

Many of the actor's co-star dropped heartfelt messages to pay their condolences. Rupali Ganguly wrote, ''May God give u strength to go thru this time'' while Alpana Buch wrote, ''Stay strong..his blessing always b with u.'' Anagha Bhosale, Kunal Jaisingh, and many others dropped their comments on the post, sending him love and strength.

Ashish had recently tested positive for COVID-19 and was missing from the show. His character was shown to have flown to Dubai for work.
