Aamir ropes in Salman and Shah Rukh for a Special Cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha!

The three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, have always been the talk of the town no matter what they do. Their success, their failures, their good deeds or bad deeds have always kept their fans entertained. More often than not the question of the trio starring in a movie together has been raised, keeping their fans on the edge of their seats, for the superstars to collaborate. 

But looks like it finally going to happen!

As per a recent report from Koimoi, Aamir is planning to rope in SRK and Salman in his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha, an official remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. While the Tom Hanks starrer started on the bench of a park, Laal Singh Chaddha will start in a train, where the main character will narrate his story and the plot will be told through flashbacks.

As reported by the entertainment website, Mr. Perfectionist has saved special roles for both his friends. As quoted by Koimoi, an exclusive source close to the development told them, “Aamir Khan has a special role saved for Shah Rukh Khan in the script. It’s not a blink-and-miss cameo, it’s a very important role without which the script will lose solidarity. Also, this is not IT, there is a 3rd role which is reserved for Salman Khan. Yes, Aamir wants all the three Khans to unite for his film. Whereas Shah Rukh Khan is confirmed for the role, Salman is yet to give the nod.”

Well, now only time will tell if the three Khan’s will be collaborating for the movie or it’s just one of the rumours!

Talking about the official remake of Robert Zemeckis’ 1994 drama, Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to collaborate with Aamir on the big screen after movies like 3 Idiots and Talaash. The characters essayed by both the stars will be seen in various looks to denote the passage of time over three decades and will also depict them in various professions.

While Aamir has lost over 20 kilos to play the younger version of the titular role, Kareena will have to go through prosthetic make-up and VFX to make herself look younger on-screen.

Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, and written by Atul Kulkarni, the film will release on Christmas 2020.
