Aamir Khan Hid Rs.15,000 in Food Packets to Help the Needy?

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently thanked the frontline workers and medico staff for their determined work towards the fight against COVID-19. A viral video has surfaced on the Internet that claims that the actor secretly distributed money to help the needy in a unique way.

The viral TikTok video claims that Aamir sent a truck with bags of wheat flour packets, to be distributed among the needy. It states that on April 23 the truck arrived in Delhi in an underprivileged area amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The vehicle was loaded with one-kilo packets of flour.

While many people refused to take the packets as they felt one-kilo wheat would barely suffice their needs, but the ones who took the packets were in for a huge surprise. As per the video, every wheat packet had Rs 15000 cash in it.

Claiming that Aamir was behind the special gesture, the anchor of the TikTok video said in this way Aamir ensured that the money reached the really needy people because only those who were absolutely hard pressed would line up for just one kilo of flour.

Aamir is not known to announce his donations and social service publicly and the actor’s team is yet to confirm the same. However, the authenticity of the video or the incident has not been established yet.

On the work front, Aamir Khan will be seen next in his much-awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha which is a remake of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump.
