Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt visit Reena Dutta's house with sons Junaid and Azad - WATCH

Aamir Khan and his new girlfriend Gauri Spratt were today at the residence of Reena Dutta. His sons Junaid Khan and Azad Rao Khan were also with them. As we know, Junaid is his elder child from his first wife Reena Dutta while Azad is his only child with Kiran Rao. The superstar’s blended family has always maintained a great harmonious relationship. We saw how he arrived at Irrfan Pathan’s function with both his ex-wives and new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. On the occasion of his birthday, he revealed to the media that he has been dating Gauri since a year. He said he would fly down to Bengaluru hence people in Mumbai did not get a wind of it.

His interview has gone viral where he said he was against the concept of marriage counselling. Before he finalised his divorce with Reena Dutta, she told him that they should meet a counsellor. He said he was very uncomfortable at the idea, and told her that how could he speak about his feelings and bond with her in front of a stranger. But she was insistent. They underwent months of counselling before he divorced her. Then, he tied the knot with Kiran Rao. Aamir Khan has a great bond with these two women. For him, his second wife Kiran Rao is a like a wonderful friend, creative collaborator and mother of his son, Azad Rao Khan.

The chilled dynamics of the Khan family has always amazed people. It is very rare to see such blended families in Bollywood. Kiran Rao herself said her own family was surprised about the excellent bond she shared with Aamir Khan, her former in-laws and Reena Dutta. She said the family eats together once every week, maybe on a Monday. All of them live close by and see each other often. She said her in-laws are a great support system and she can rely on them like a family. While many might not be able to understand the set-up, Aamir Khan’s family surely knows how to prioritize harmony.
