Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn Reunite at Tera Yaar Hoon Main Mahurat, Recall Fun Moments from Ishq

Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn recently reunited at the mahurat ceremony of Tera Yaar Hoon Main, showing their support for director Indra Kumar’s son, Aman, who is making his Bollywood debut. Their presence at the event was a warm gesture, especially since they share a close bond with Indra Kumar, having worked together in his 1997 hit film Ishq. This comedy, featuring Aamir, Ajay, Kajol, and Juhi Chawla, remains a beloved classic in Bollywood.

Reflecting on their time working together, Ajay mentioned that it’s high time they collaborate on another film like Ishq. Aamir also shared his feelings, saying, “We don’t meet often, but whenever we do, I feel a lot of warmth and love from Ajay." Aamir also recalled a funny incident from the Ishq shoot, where a chimpanzee unexpectedly attacked him. He laughed, “During filming a sequence in Ishq, a chimpanzee started to attack me." Ajay teased him, saying Aamir had "provoked" the chimp by spraying water on it. Aamir then found himself running around shouting, “Bachao Bachao!”

Ajay, known for his action skills, saved Aamir during the commotion. Aamir fondly remembered how Ajay helped him, “He saved me by pulling me out of a moving car,” which brought laughter to those present. This moment from the film’s set reflects the playful camaraderie the two share, even years after their collaboration.

Ishq remains a cherished film, combining comedy, romance, and action, making it a cult classic. The on-screen chemistry between the stars and the unique plot twists left a lasting impression on audiences. Directed by Indra Kumar, it showed the versatility of its actors and successfully mixed humor with thrilling action sequences.

Tera Yaar Hoon Main, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, also stars Paresh Rawal and newcomer Akanksha Sharma. Ajay was recently seen in Singham Again, while Aamir is excited for the release of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par.
