AAMIR has an Anurag Kashyap connection

While news has just come in that Rajeev Khandelwal is being credited as the First Assistant Director of AAMIR for his immense contribution to his debut film, both in front of the camera as well as behind it, not many areaware that there is an Anurag Kashyap connection to the film as well.

So how does Anurag Kashyap contribute to AAMIR? Well, he is the 'Creative Producer' of this film which comes under the banner of UTV SPOT BOY. Though the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala with Zarina Mehta, Deven Khote, Vikas Behl and Siddharth Roy Kapur as the co-producers, AAMIR has a special place for Kashyap as well in the production department.

The reason why Anurag nodded for his involvement in the project was because he found the script of AAMIR quite interesting and also believed in Rajeev as an actor from his TV days. Moreover, since Rajkumar Gupta, the debutant director of AAMIR, has already worked with Anurag Kashyap as an assistant director, it only aided in getting them all together once more.

Promotion of AAMIR has already kick started and the film is all set for release on 23rd May.
