We were yet to sink in and relate ourselves to the heartbreak and emotional chords of Channa Mereya and you chose to throw yet another one at us.

So we decided to trace back at 5 films in which we witnessed that moment when he walks out of weddings, relationship etc - giving us 5 scenes with 5 evergreen songs that have made a mark forever in our playlist.

Bachna Ae Haseeno

It has been 15 long years since the movie released, can you believe it? Ranbir Kapoor trying to reconcile with his ex girlfriend Mahi (Minisha Lamba) to make peace with his past post realising his love for Gayatri (Deepika Padukone). Walking out of the wedding with a smile on his face while the music Jogi Mahi echos, might still be one of my favourite scenes.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is still as fresh as yesterday in our memory. No wonder all the accolades for Atif Aslam and Pritam were justified. But our heart still aches for Ranbir's Prem as he walked out of Jenny's( Katrina Kaif) wedding. While the background music softly played 'Tere Hone Laga Hoon', each one of us had a tear for sure.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani

It's 2023 and still the magic of this scene, this song never becomes old! Ranbir Kapoor walking out from Aditi's (Kalki Kochin) wedding with his inner turmoil was smooth in all ways possible. The song 'Kabira' with a sufi touch and Ranbir's emotional range is surreal.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Arijit Singh and Ranbir Kapoor is one of the best combinations Bollywood can have. Ranbir perfectly emoted the feeling of incomplete love to which many of us could relate. And 'Channa Mereya' was also declared as the national anthem of people who suffered heartbreaks or loved someone one-sided.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar

As mentioned above the perfect duo Arijit and Ranbir were back once again in 'Tu Jhooti Main Makkar.' Only here, he doesn't walk out of a wedding but walks out of a engagement this time! And the film gave us yet another masterpeice 'O Bedardiya'.
