'A known devil is always better than the unknown devil' - Tina Parekh

Tina Parekh is very happy to back in Kasautii Zindagii Ke. "This Balaji show has given me so much scope to display my acting abilities. First it was the tomboyish Mukti and now the lady like Devki. What more can I ask for?", quips the charming actress.

Do you think it was right for you to have entered at stage when the show is about to close? "A known devil is always better than the unknown devil. On a more serious note, the story was such that Devki had to return at this stage. Yes, it is quite sad that Kasautii is finally wrapping up, but all good things come to an end, right?", says Tina.

Next Tina is looking at anchoring a travel based show. On the fiction front, she is hoping for more realistic projects. I am getting tired of over the top family dramas. Hope somebody could make shows similar to Banegi Apni Baat and Hip Hip Hurray.

Ask her about reality genre and Tina laughingly says, "I can't sing to save my life. While Big Boss is too much intrusion into my personal space, that leaves only Jhalak, and I would love to dance with a trained choreographer."

Lastly, we ask her about married life and this cute Marwari says, "Its awesome. I recommend it to all my single friends." But how do you balance both work and personal life? "It all depends on your attitude. Lucky for me though, my hubby is mostly away for half a month, so those days I work. And once he is back, we try to spend as much quality time as possible."

Do you have plans to make a comeback in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki too? "No, I do not plan to re-enter Kahaani", says Tina as she signs off.
