Shweta Basu Prasad's fiction TV debut

The girl has been through a lot. After making a mark with the critically acclaimed Makdee, she worked in many acclaimed TV shows such as Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karishma Kaa Karishma. Shweta was also caught up in a sex scandal two years ago. Wading through all those difficulties, the girl is now making a very confident comeback to the fiction space. We are proud of you Shweta and look forward to see how much more refined have your acting skills become.

Rajat Tokas back to what he does the best

We are not stereotyping or anything, but we can't help it if Rajat is his excellent best when portraying historical characters. He has so far played Prithviraj Chauhan and Akbar so far and will now essay Chandragupta Maurya. This forte seems to have become his speciality and we are sure that Rajat would do a splendid job here too.  

One of its kind love story

Television has witnessed many love stories that started with hatred. But a love story with such hatred that the couple marries each just to take each other's lives? Marrying with the intent of killing the other, is surely something that we will be witnessing for the first time. And the viewers get a glimpse of the hatred that is so evident in the promos.

Lesser Known Saga

Not many television shows have told the story of Chandragupta Maurya and his Queen Nandini. While we've known and even watched several adaptations of sagas like Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharana Pratap and even Jodha Akbar, not much are we aware of Chandragupta and Nandini. And this is what we look forward too. And with Ekta at the helm of the story narrating, we expect it to be out of this world completely.

Extravagant Setup

The promos have already offered you a glimpse of how extravagantly the show has been shot. To top it all, this is one of Ekta Kapoor's most ambitious shows. Hence, it is pretty much obvious that Ekta would leave no stone unturned in its making. Also, the show will be shot in real locations as well, providing the viewers a visual treat.
