5 ICONIC Roles we think Shaheer Sheikh can pull-off in Style!

Who would have thought that a skinny yet tall and calm boy next door, would go on to become one of the most popular and sought after actors on Indian television? Actor Shaheer Sheikh debuted with a rather forgotten role in the show, Sanya over nine years ago.

The next thing we know, Shaheer went on to do memorable characters on television which include the likes of Navya, Mahabharat and currently starring in the all-set-to-return popular drama, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.

We are all aware of Shaheer's acting prowess. So here is a list of iconic Bollywood roles that we feel the actor can pull off with ease.

Just like romantic films are Ranbir Kapoor's forte, romantic characters are Shaheer Sheikh's ball game completely. Thanks to his characters in Navya and currently in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Shaheer plays a hearbroken lover with ease and also portrays dual characters like Ranvir's in Tamasha, with finesse.

A biopic is something Shaheer could pull off in style. The actor is known for his dedication and hardwork towards a project like the way he transformed himself for Mahabharat and a biopic needs the same characteristics. Playing M.S. Dhoni would be a privilege for Shaheer and watching him play cricket would be a treat for us all, right?

Shaheer may have become the mature man he is today, but several fans miss his chirpy and playful avatar like those in Disney shows, Kya Mast Hai Life and Best of Luck Nikki back then. Naughty yet a good-hearted man who falls in love eventually, Karan Kapoor would have been equally amazing with Shaheer's rarely known comic timing.

Having a chiseled physique with sex appeal and playing a casanova who eventually becomes a loyal lover, is what defined Ram aka Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela. And though, we haven't seen Shaheer in a similar character, he has a chiseled physique and has also played a casanova in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi to perfection.

It would be a huge responsibility for Shaheer to step into the shoes of Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan, especially when its an iconic character like that of Kabir Khan in Chak De India. However, with Shaheer's maturity as an actor over the years, we can be rest assured. From playing a teenage boy-next-door, Shaheer has managed to play a 'no-nonsense' man in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi with absolute ease.
