3 Dead and 10 injured on Indian 2 set; Kamal Haasan Mourns the Death of Crew Members!

Film sets often turn dangerous and it is equally fatal for the crew when a major accident takes place. Similarly, a major accident took place at the sets of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 which suddenly turned horrifying as three crew members from the Kamal Haasan starrer were reported dead and ten were injured.

The reports in Mumbai Mirror suggested that a crane fell on them while constructing the sets for shooting and the incident took place at EVP Film City near Chennai and nine others were injured on Wednesday.

The film is being directed by S.Shankar, a sequel to the hit movie Indian that featured Haasan as well.

The report further stated that the crane was being used to fix a light at around 10 PM after it collapsed on the crew members. 

Soon after the shocking incident, Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter handle and shared his condolences for the deceased. He mentioned that this accident is very cruel though he had crossed several accidents. More than his pain at the loss, the pain of the family members of the dead would be more.

"I am sharing their grief," he said.

Haasan even visited the injured in the hospital and also said they were given first aid and are being treated. He hoped they would soon recover. Madhu, personal assistant to director Shankar, Krishna, assistant director, and a staffer Chandran, have lost their lives in the incident.

Meanwhile, Injured crew members have been shifted to a hospital.
