#1YearOfBeyhadh: While Maya is the show stealer, it is Saanjh who is the true hero of 'Beyhadh'

As the show completes a year, here's out takeaway from Beyhadh...

Beyhadh has been a roller coaster journey for not just the trio of Maya - Arjun - Saanjh, but also for the viewers. While Maya (Jennifer Winget) has always managed to get things her way gradually, Arjun (Kushal Tandon) and Saanjh (Aneri Vajani) have had their own set of struggles to deal with, and in fact, it continues to be the same way.

Maya, is undoubtedly the one helming the show and has done it ever so amazingly, but Saanjh does deserve a special mention for all that she has done and gone through.

While, Maya is in fact the reason we all watch the show, we need to give it away to Saanjh for being the actual hero. And today, as the show completes a year, what better occasion to list it all down for you?

Her ability to put aside her emotions!

From the very beginning, Saanjh has had very strong feelings for Arjun, but, she has successfully managed to put aside her feelings for Arjun and not let them come in the way of their friendship. Even when Arjun was getting all close with Maya, she did not let any of it come in their friendship's way. For a really long time, and even until the very end (as long as Maya and Arjun were together), her focus continued to be on standing with Arjun.

A true friend through thick and thin!

Saanjh has, throughout been a true friend to Arjun. Be it when she got involved in Arjun and Maya's marriage preparations, or when even after years, she chose to side with Arjun not letting her flames affect either of them.

Years after the two of them came face to face, Saanjh could still figure out how things are majorly wrong with him and that he could use some of her support only to eventually side with him and help him through.

Put her self respect above everything!

During the time when Maya was in jail, and Arjun confesses his love for Saanjh, she does not let his vulnerability take over her or let her old feelings cloud her judgment. Though she eventually says a yes, but she does stand up to him and for her own self like no other and that, did have our hearts going out for her.

She has, in fact, aced all the facets of a true woman!

Be it a perfect daughter, or the ideal wife, and of course, the best of friend and a greater mother; Saanjh has successfully got into the skin of every single relationship and did so with all the love and affection. Not only has she successfully managed to be the true woman that she should be, but she has also proved how big a heart she has with her behaviour towards Maya's mother, Jhanvi.
