The Voice is an Indian singing reality talent show, based on the original Dutch Version of the program created by John de Mol and is part of a wider international franchise. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artist's performances. Each coach guides their team of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach.
SEASON 1 (2015)
In the first season of The Voice, Pawandeep Rajan from Team Shaan emerged as the winner with Deepesh Rahi from team Himesh as the runner-up. The four coaches who mentored the contestants in the first season of The Voice were Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh and it was presented by Karan Tacker.
SEASON 2 (2016-2017)
Salim Merchant, Neeti Mohan, Benn Dayal and Shaan mentored the second season of the Voice and once again, Team Shaan emerged victorious with Farhan Sabir who claimed the first prize. Rasika Borkar from team Benny was the runner-up and the show was presented by two talented hosts, Gunjan Utreja and Sugandha Mishra.
SEASON 3 (2019)
Sumit Saini from team Harshdeep was crowned as the winner in the recent season of the show and Adnan Ahmed from team Adnan emerged as the runner-up. Popular Television Actress, divyanka Tripathi was introduced as the host for the season. Apart from the host, this season witnessed big names like Adnan Sami, Armaan Malik, Harshdeep Kaur and Kanika Kapoor as the four main coaches. .Padma Bhusan winner and a stalwart name in the music industry, A.R Rahman was introduced as the Super Judge.
