Maahi Ve is a daily saga of two generations of two Jagirdar families seeped in emotions as diverse as love and enmity. It is also a unique tale of two girls – Preeto & Seebo, who come from a modest middle class background and live in Mumbai. However a journey to Punjab changes her life forever. The story is largely posited in Ludhiana, the heart of Punjab and another track of the story is placed in Mumbai. In Ludhiana, Thakur Vir Singh and Thakur Bikram Singh were once childhood friends. But, eventually, certain turn of events transpire their friendship into hostility. Preeto, the daughter of Inderjit and Shibani is the main protagonist of the story. It is the journey of Preeto who feels the need to discover the joy of relationships but an unplanned journey to Punjab leads to a new beginning for her.
