Wife of Mansukh and the elder sister of Sushila, Rasila comes from a joint family background. Her father was a farmer in Anand and they became prosperous by selling milk to Amul Dairy. With her scheming mind, she deliberately arranges to get Sushila married to her younger brother-in–law Bhallu, so that she can keep the reins of control over them and the entire family in her own hands. She has always been jealous of her younger sister because of her positive character, beauty, hard working and her good-nature & the ability to easily find a place in everyone’s heart. A flamboyant character, Rasila inherently enjoys wearing expensive sarees & jewellery and manages getting money out of her otherwise miserly husband.
Rasila & Mansukh's daughter and Gaurang's wife, Gargi believes that she is the centre of this universe and everything must revolve around her. She likes to demand complete attention of all whenever she is at home, and even goes on to fake an illness to get others sympathy. She is always competing with her bhabhi, Jyotika and can't stand her.
