‘Dunki’ was tremendous
I have seen so many reviews before watching ‘Dunki’. Most of them are fully negative. Negative means they were giving the movie 1 star or 0 star. I felt little disheartened after seeing those reviews. As a SRK and Hirani movie fan I was unable to digest those reviews. Then, I have watched the film with my wife in the theater. The theatre was houseful that day. My wife did not like much films. She has very selective choice regarding movies. She liked ‘Dunki’ very much and became emotional in the theatre. In the reviews, I have seen that mostly people saying comedy part of the movie was not good enough but in the theater everyone laughing so hard with each passing comedy scenes. So, the houseful audience doesn’t know anything about comedy in movies? Nowadays, people are laughing with stand up comedian crap jokes but they did not find any comedy in the movie? It’s kind of strange to me. Another thing they are talking about Hirani’s worst film. What did Hirani wrong with this film? The subject was sensitive and mostly the subject was true and real. People are still struggling to go abroad and facing unimaginable situation to settle down in abroad. Thanks to social media which created a fake world where everyone is happy and rich. Those kind of people did not digest the movie because Hirani sir put a mirror in-front of those audiences. Unfortunately, those audiences numbers are high in this current situation. Anyways, for me ‘Dunki’ was the third best movie after 12th fail and Jawan in the basis of content. I am really upset that ‘Dunki’ failed at the boxoffice after ‘Swades’, ‘Raees’, ‘Pehli’, etc.
