Time slot may change - Page 2

I feel it is better that SP has considered slot change instead of off air. And the 7pm slot definitely has more trp pressure. The rival colors show is far ahead in trps. There is so much story to tell in ZMGA. But the pace is slow. Only today I liked the pace.

Isnt this show and Mehndi getting same trps?

But I fail to understand why are they after ZMGA We had an article after the very first mth saying the show is going off air and blah blah🤪 The story is finally moving and we yet again get such articles. Timing isn't an issue for me since I watch online but I just hope the show goes on. It's the only show I'm currently watching and I'm too much attached to Pritam, AmriTam and Kabir😭 But Trp wise it can be good if it moves to 5.30 but then again I don't know how long will it run once it's shifted

Yes that is possible. Star should officially name their 5:30 P.M. slot as their “detention slot”. No I swear they are acting like that. Whichever serial gets low trps they shift them to that slot as a punishment and also give a compensation for 1 month and after that one month, they will off-air that show.

- I don’t understand one thing if they really want to shift zmga to a different slot then can’t they shift it to 11:00 P.M slot which is free? zmga is a family drama and family dramas don’t really work great on early slots. Yes there are exceptional cases like of Saathiya S1 but those times were different.

- Saathiya S1 ran between 2009-2017. Between 2009 to 2015 there was no other option than to watch a show on TV because hotstar was not launched. Although hotstar got launched in 2015, it did not affect much Saathiya trps because the earlier loyal viewers of Saathiya preferred and continued watching Saathiya on tv till the end.

- Now it is not the same case, ever since covid pandemic broke out the trps of all the shows were drastically affected because of it and it was a miracle many shows got atleast 2+ after they started re-telecasting them and nowadays due to various reasons many prefer to watch shows online instead of on tv and if zmga is shifted to this early slot I don’t really feel it will last really long because the viewers who are watching it on tv now will also shift to watch it online.

- So why not shift it to 11:00 P.M. instead of 5:30 because family dramas work better in the late evening slots.

-Imo, instead of giving all the new shows the early evening slots. Star plus should off-air the two longer running shows which is in their prime slots which is Rishta and yhc or shift them to the early evening slots. Rishta has been running for more than a decade and going round and round over the same plots and same way for yhc which is running for the past two years.

-Imo, every show should run at the max of two years and for at the max of 1000 episodes, not more than that. Weren’t the ITV shows introduced for entertainment purpose? Now they no longer serve entertainment but exhibit some kind of hunger of the channels and producers to win trps. I wonder are they making shows for the entertainment of the viewers or all for themselves?

Firstly this news has been leaked by some pretty cheap media portals and also as much as i know, the new show is going to be from GHKKPM production house so channel might consider primetime for their show.

Secondly if ZMGA is shifting to a new time slot it better be 11:00 pm. Throughout the 70+ episodes i am sure people had understand that ZMGA is a good content show and shows like this work well at 11:00 pm slot. So channel should shift it to 11:00 pm there it will pickup quickly because of YHC's lead and its own audience too. Right now the show is new and i am sure many viewers are not been able to watch it at 7:00 pm so shifting it to 11:00 pm slot will be a healthy decision for the show.

Imo for sitara 5:30 is the slow drawn death slot.. give the team 1-3 months to wrap it up and then axe it.

Mehndi is a bit lower than this it has 1 trp this has 1.1
