Mehak and Meera had their dinner and Mehak told her she wants to talk to her about something. Meera "Sure talk why you need to ask beta, Mehak told her about the job and mentioned that she and Anna would be working together there. Meera looked at her for a minute and then said "NO. Mehak knew this would be her answer because she has never let her go out of city for a job, Mehak tried to reason with her but Meera refused it sternly. Mehak sat in the lounge trying to watch TV and flicking through the channels thinking about what she would do now? Her mobile rang and it was Anna "Hello Darling, did you tell your mom about your job? I have already bought us tickets, Mehak "Tickets? What? I told her about it but it's a no go, Anna sighed "Listen to me Mehak and do as I say,trust me your mom will agree to let you go, Mehak "Ok I am listening, Anna "You know how these actors cry in movies and serials? A simply trick put few drops of glycerin in your eyes and you are good to go, you and as well as I know your mom can't see you in tears she laughed, Mehak "Anna you are one of a kind you know that, Anna "That I am. Wait I am coming Mehak I don't trust you when you will blurt out that all this is a plan to your mom as you can't see her sad, just do one thing be in your room and lock the door, Mehak sighed "OK come madam. Meanwhile Meera was in her room thinking about what Mehak just said, she was sad as she refused her daughter, she has never done that,what would she be going through she must be sad and if indeed is a good job offer like she said then it would be too bad for her not to go but this world is not an easy place to survive in and specially in a place full of strangers, she worked before but I would have the comfort of knowing she would come back home at night and I could see her every day and now if she goes there she will be far away what if something happens to her? Oh no why am I assuming all the bad things, my daughter worked so hard to run this house and to treat me she would do extra hours and now that there is a better chance at future for her and she can fulfill her dream of studying further how can I refuse? It was 9pm when the doorbell rang few times, Meera came out of her room Mehak didn't get the door and she wondered why her room door is shut and lights off did she sleep early? She is not an early to bed person. Is she sad because of what happened before? Am I that bad of a mother? She looked at her room sadly and when to get the door, she opened the door and saw Anna with a worried expression on her face "Oh hey Anna what are you doing at this hour, you look worried, is everything alright? come in, Anna "Hey Mrs.Susheel Mehak called me a while ago she was sad first and then starting crying badly, Meera "What? It must be because of what we talked earlier about, my daughter my only child cried because of me she had tears in her eyes, Anna "Don't cry Mrs.Susheel If you cry then how would you handle Mehak? Let's go and check on her Meera "Come lets go to her room and you did right by coming here else I wouldn't be able to face her like that, Anna "Don't worry Mrs.Susheel Mehak loves you a lot it's just that sometimes life takes its toll on you and you have a breaking point, she has suffered a lot I guess this was her breaking point. Meera knocked on the door "Mehak beta please open the door, we can talk about everything just open the door please, Mehak just ran to the door she couldn't just hear her mother pleading to her like that, She opened the door and Anna give her an a look suggesting why madam couldn't you wait a little more. As soon as she opened the door Meera hugged her tight "Forgive me my child I just imagine the worst of every situation although it might be a very good opportunity for you and I didn't even listen to you, Mehak still sobbed and tried to act like she had given up on that job "Don't feel bad mother, maybe I wasn't supposed to be there and if you are unhappy how can I go there. Anna gave her both thumbs up. Meera broke the hug "No beta I don't want you to lose on a good job because of my stupidity , so what if its far away you and Anna will both be together there and I trust you both blindly she said wiping her tears and smiling, Anna " Yes yes no one can mess with this power couple, Mehak still acting "But mother?, Meera "No ifs or buts now the decision is final, you better start preparing your stuff, when are you going Anna?, Anna said excitedly "In the morning, tomorrow is our flight, Meera looked at the confused "hmm alright? But there will be no tickets available for a morning flight now?, Anna cleared her throat "Actually Mrs.Susheel I bought the tickets when I saw the advertisement, at that time my other friend was accompanying me but she dropped of it because of some family issues so now that Mehak is going why not I should give that ticket to her she lied looking away. Meera Oh ok, you are such a good friend of Mehak and you care so much about her she hugged them both.
Mehak took Anna inside her room and both started laughing but put their hands on mouth so that her mother won't hear them, Mehak "It was a good plan devil's advocate but it pained me to see mother's tears, Anna Oh so I am devil's advocate, while I am the one who solved all this and got your mother to let you go she pouted and pretend to be sad, Mehak " Oh don't be sad I was just kidding, if you weren't with me all this time I don't know what I would have done with my life she held both her ears and said " sorry making a puppy face , Anna looked at her and laughed and pulled her cheeks "just look at this adorableness, one day you are surely going to kill someone with that.Mehak " Is that so? You are too much Mehak smiled at her. "Now enough of all this talking let's get packing. I have packed my stuff already, let's get yours quickly Anna said. They were done with packing, Mehak thanked Anna for helping her in getting out of this situation, Anna scolded her No thank you between best friends and left. Mehak laid on her bed thinking about how this new venture will turn out for her and dozed off. There Shaurya was thinking how he will handle such big responsibility but then he thought Vicky will be there to handle things if it goes out of hand, thinking about it he dozed off. Vicky had already left today because of an urgent meeting with some investors and he will be meeting him tomorrow.

Next morning Mehak took her mom's blessing and left for the airport, she was wearing a light yellow color skirt. Anna was already waiting for her there. Mehak was about to enter the airport when she collided with someone who seems to be so strong like she collided with a wall she was about to fall when he caught her. He was holding her tight while she had her hands around his neck. "YOU both said at the same time, both looking at each other and thinking, Mehak "This is the second time I have to meet this monster and I am now sure of this day to be as worse as the previous one, Shaurya "Again? This crazy girl, once was not enough, she ruined my US plans and now what more, can't be any worse than before or will it be? They both got out of their thought process, Mehak "Let me stand, Shaurya made her stand and let go of her and took a look at her and then at his shirt, they were wearing matching colors "What the hell, why do you have to wear this color? Mehak "Excuse me, Do I have to take your permission to what color I have to wear?, "Whatever he said and went inside. Anna was waiting for her in the lobby and came running towards her and hugged her "You are here. They both went to the check-in desk and stood in line, Anna was asked to come forward and was asked to show her id and ticket, after Anna was done Mehak was called and she was asked the same, there was a problem with her ticket "Mam we are so sorry we have sold this ticket to some other passenger and he has already checked in, Mehak looking at Anna worriedly "So what should I do now? Will I miss my flight?, lady behind the counter said to let her check if there are some other empty seats and she found one "We have one empty seat in the business class, would you like to take it?, Anna jumped in and pulled Mehak aside "Take it we shouldn't miss this flight and it's your lucky day travelling business class, Mehak said "Ok I will take it and got the printed ticket, they got their boarding pass and were done with various security checks and boarded the plane.
Air hostess showed them their seats. Anna sat in her seat and Mehak went to hers. She was carrying a backpack she put it in the overhead bin and sat on her seat and just as she turned around towards the window seat there he was again Mr.Shaurya Khanna, she looked at him in shock as if he wasn't allowed to go on a plane in which she was travelling, he was looking out the window as he turned around he saw her looking at him as if he was an alien, he didn't seem surprised as he thought she isn't actually here and looked out the window again "When I turn around again she won't be here and as he did she was still looking at him, he again turned his head towards the window but quickly looked back "What, what are you doing here, have you done some magic on me, what do you want?, she was silent for a moment then spoke "All these questions should be mine, why I keep meeting you which is always unpleasant, he shook his head, he has to bear her for 1.30 hr flight when he can't put up with her for one minute. Announcements were made and safety demonstrations were done. Now flight was prepared to take off. Mehak started praying closing her eyes in discomfort, he was looking at her thinking if she has some mental illness. She finished her prayer and flight took off. In flight he tried to sleep and she was looking here and there, she loved the window seat so she can look out the window and enjoy the views. If there was anyone else she would have requested him to exchange the seats but here he was a monster sitting beside her. He tried to sleep but he couldn't she was constantly trying to look out the window, "what are you doing? he said, "Nothing she said, "Nothing? You keep peeping up your head from time to time what is your problem? I can't sleep if you keep doing that. "Actually I love sitting in the window seat so if there was any way we could exchange... She said hesitantly. "No way... yes there is one way we can arrange for you to enjoy sitting in this seat. "And what is that? she said. "Well I don't want to leave my seat and you want to sit here, so how about you sit in my lap he had a naughty smile on his face. Her mouth was wide open "Shameless she was about to say something but then she realized there were other passengers and it would not look good if she started an argument with him again so she remained quiet. He looked at her and smirked "Hmm so there is some way you can keep her quiet. He tried to sleep again. He was asleep, she noticed him sleeping and tried to look out the window again, this time completely out of her seat basically on top of him not touching. He woke up and saw the side of her face very near to his, so she is as stubborn as I thought. He leaned in and kissed her cheek. She was stunned for a moment and then realized what just happened and went back to her seat and looked around if anyone saw what just happened. She turned to him fuming in anger her tone higher than usual "What was that? I knew you were shameless, kissing me like that I am not one of those magazine girls, "Oh is that so? We will see about that. "Yes it is she looked away from him in anger, "I told you and gave you an offer if you want to see those views, but you didn't agree and then invaded my space you should be happy it was your cheek only, next time you do It will be your lips he winked at her. She was now super annoyed and in anger she was about to reply just then the hostess came and told them to keep quiet as they are disturbing other passengers, they should not bring their bed room matters here. She was in shock hearing that and looked at him in anger. He was enjoying it and laughing hard at her misery.
