@bold: Very powerful words Chandrima!

You know I was hoping they will juxtaposition her parents memory with some of hers with him in the flashbacks., for her to sense and acknowledge all the overt and the silent promises made to each other. But, I guess yesterday wasn't abt that. It was just abt all her old wounds reopened and in a horrific way!

Perhaps in the days to come, as this grief settles and they start feeling again, they feel these silent unspoken words and realize that bidding adieu isn't so easy after all...

@Diya, powerful & soulful indeed. I hardly can do justice with my very limited English to Tagore's original words.

In his own words, life is all about give & take and he never keeps a debt, returns it with high interest. The irony is that he has to prove these now in literal sense. Mahek's horrific wounds have been reopened and in the process a deeper, perhaps incurable one has been created.

@tibs, the stage is same, so the players are. But "I have never loved you neither I ever will. Forget me. Forget whatever has happened between us. Find a middle class prince charming for yourself and marry him." has changed to "maaro mujhe.. mujhe jo sazaa deni hai do...mujhse dur naa jaao.."

One point which I have inadvertently missed out from my previous post is the way they stood up individually after the revelation. Shaurya stumbled just like a man in extreme vulnerability, helplessness and completely broken, identical to someone in absolute inebriated state. But he ultimately stood up and composed himself. Mahek's state was worse. She stumbled again and again, destroyed objects but refused to opt for Shaurya's desperate endeavours to help and ultimately with the help of a table/chair she stood up. Hope the symbolism do play out in future.

I am speechless. This is splendid tibs 👏👏👏 Words expressing the silence between them, these words which will be the key to travel the infinite distance that lies between them now 😳
I was not willing to watch the episode but yours and Vedika's post compelled me to, and i should be thankful to you guys for that 🤗
I don't have something original of mine which can match this quality of your post, but still have managed to gets something from google 😊

"It was too quiet for hope, and then too loud for safety.

She thought of the people she had lost, of the affection, the smiles, the belonging she could never again take for granted. It was the end of a life, and as she stood there, shivering in the brief night-time chill, it dawned on her that it was the end of her childhood.
- Radhika Swarup , Where the river parts

"If he touched her, he couldn't talk to her, if he loved her he couldn't leave, if he spoke he couldn't listen, if he fought he couldn't win.
