Agreed. there is no lack of creativity or for that matter there are a couple of really good actors. Its just that now the concentration is less on the content and more on the presentation which they always want it to be glamorous which i m seriously tired of watching.Real life toh aisi nahi hoti!
N Kashaf is a brilliantly etched out character and Sanam played it to the T. That reminds me, @Khamosh, are you watching Firaaq? I'm loving every bit of it. 😊 And BB looks boring this year😆

i've read most of her novels including Zindagi Gulzar Hai
currently reading Dayar e Dil (City of Heart)
her stories inflected by the realities of life the characters are not OTT they are real & after reading the stories you can't stop thinking about them.
her words have the power to change your view & mortivate you the best thing is the female characters in her story inspires her followers
her writting approach is simple & realistic.
if you love reading don't miss Umera Ahmed work.

is there any English version for her Novels?

i don't think her all novels are available in english
only Phir e Kamil (The Perfect Mentor) was translated in English
The book deals with Islamic religious believe & the turning points in intervening lives of two people a runaway girl named Umema Hashim & a boy named Salar Sikander having an IQ level above 150
here is a audio clip from the novel Phir e Kamil

Yup watching Firaaq and it's a different experience altogether watching a show once a week.😆 And me too loving it and it makes me so gald that that an actor like Sanam's caliber gets the opportunity to try out different and challenging characters, just coz they have such well scripted shows and content is given the most importance. For the Indian actors, even if dey r brilliant, dey don't hv dat well panned out characters to enact.

U know for the past so many years BB was the only show I was watching and now I hv other shows to look forward to nd I think it's good for me dat I am skipping BB dis year, though I love the human interactions, actions and reactions. Anyways dis time it seems frm day 1, love stories have started.😆
