Sonam Kapoor & Fawad Khan promote Khoobsurat

The lead actors of Khoobsurat visited Viviana Mall in Thane to promote their film. Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan were seen interacting with their fans. While Sonam was the more vivacious one, Fawad didn't seem to say much.

Girls going crazy for Fawad at the mall omigosh! His hype is not fake but real. Such a proud moment for us all fans. I have been following this movie since the first look was launched. Honestly never followed any film this closely before. 19th September is getting closer. Good luck everybody!

So much i had to catch up😳 Thanks a bunch for all the updates people. Cant thank you guys enough😳

i loved the song "Naina". It was beautiful i thought and im a fan of Sona Mahopatra's voice😊. Fawad was a revelation tbh in the Music Launch. He was enjoying himself , cracking jokes, laughing and having a ball and i loved watching him like that😃 he also did a dance step and sonam hooted. It was so so cute😃 He really could be a great anchor😃 I love the camaraderie Fawad and Sonam share.😳 Sonam has been a wonderful host i feel. Fawad has been constantly mentioning in his IV's that he's coming out of his comfort zone and i think he's doing that beautifully and he seems to be getting support from the whole KS team. So proud that he chose this movie. He's already reached heights and the fan in me is super happy for him and sonam and KS.😊

The team looks sincere, and so well bonded that i want this film to work for them. For all their hardwork. For Fawad. For sonam. FINGERS CROSSED! Rock on, Khoobsurat!❤️

Censor Board doesn't warm up to the Maa Ka Phone song from Khoobsurat

A song from the upcoming Sonam Kapoor-Fawad Khan starrer Khoobsurat took more than 10 days to obtain a Censor Board clearance. The track Maa Ka Phone was found to have double meaning lyrics by the examining committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The panel refused to clear the song as some members felt one of the lines Teri Maa Ka Phone could be considered as a cuss word.

A source says, "There is a pause between Teri Maa Ka and Phone and that is the reason it was referred to the Revising Committee (RC).''

The source adds, "The track was submitted for clearance to the CBFC 15 days ago, but due to the recent chaos in the Censor Board it took a while for the makers to get the song cleared. It was eventually cleared by the RC which was a day before the song hit the TV screens last week.''

Producer Rhea Kapoor was unavailable for comment.
